Inspiration Monday #9

A little story from my past as a six year old Rainbow Bright.

The photo I shared is one of my favorites. It’s proof I’m a blond under all the pink and grey. It’s also one of the greatest examples of my mother’s ingenuity and problem solving with creativity. Half the stuff she did was magically inspired, and I hope to continue that legacy. I shared a photo of her playing the flute for me when I was three — a flute I still have and can play!

I think it’s all because yesterday was Mother’s Day. I don’t usually do anything, as I miss my mother so much, even after 10 years, that I end up emotional and will keep that messy crying to myself, thanks!

But I want you to see you don’t need a lot of money or fancy expensive supplies to create great things. Crayola supplies, cardboard from a cereal box, the empty tube of wrapping paper…look outside of what we call “art supplies” to find the perfect piece to spark a new project!
